DB Journey has selected Spedify as its new logistics partner for the Norwegian market. With warehouse operations moving from Sweden to Askim, Spedify now handles all distribution in Norway — working closely with Bleckmann for the broader European market.

The well-known Norwegian brand DB Journey (formerly Douchebags) has chosen to relocate its warehouse from Sweden to Spedify’s modern logistics facility in Askim. This move marks an important milestone for both DB Journey and Spedify, enabling more localized and efficient distribution in their most important market.

“Norge has always been our home market, and relocating warehouse operations closer to Norwegian consumers was a natural next step.

DB Journey conducted a thorough RFP process to identify a third-party logistics partner (3PL) capable of supporting their ambitions in this key market. Spedify stood out during the process — meeting all requirements in terms of capacity, scalability, and service quality, says Joachim Gund, Director of Business Development at DB Journey.

He highlights the strategic location of Askim as a key factor in the decision:

“The location in Askim was also a decisive factor. It offers excellent proximity to Oslo — not only one of Norway’s largest markets, but also a key logistics hub. This central location improves both inbound flow and outbound delivery performance, enabling us to serve our customers faster and more efficiently. Simply put, Spedify’s presence in Askim allows us to deliver a premium local experience to the Norwegian market.”

Joachim also emphasizes Norway’s importance to DB Journey:

“The Norwegian market holds a special place for us — not only was Db founded here, but it remains our largest and most important market in terms of both revenue and brand position. While we don’t disclose exact figures, we can confidently say that Norway represents our strongest customer base, and we expect it to remain our top market for the foreseeable future.”

He concludes:

“That’s why we’re deeply committed to strengthening our connection with Norwegian consumers. Establishing a local warehouse is one of several steps we’re taking to get closer to our customers, enhance service quality, and lay the foundation for long-term growth.”
