Automated storage, pallet handling and dedicated customer areas support operations for ecommerce, stores, B2B and marketplaces. Photo: Spedify image library. ### Capacity for daily goods flows 26,000 m² Warehouse space 60,000 AutoStore bins 50 AutoStore robots 14 Truck loading doors A fully automated pallet crane warehouse, conventional pallet storage and cross-docking zones connect inbound deliveries with outbound orders. Fourteen loading doors support receipt and dispatch across multiple customer operations. ### Close to Oslo and routes into Sweden The location near the E18 connects Askim with the Oslo region and the Swedish border. Access to carriers and major transport routes makes the facility a practical logistics hub for distribution across Eastern Norway. Same-day delivery can be arranged in parts of the Oslo region. Photo: Øyvind Ludt / Logistikk Inside. ### Equipment that supports the operation Different technologies for different parts of the goods flow. 01 #### Automated pallet crane warehouse A fully automated crane warehouse handles pallet storage. Alongside conventional pallet racking, it supports goods that require a different storage format from AutoStore bins. 02 #### AutoStore With 60,000 bins and 50 robots, AutoStore brings products to the picking stations. It is combined with pallet storage and manual handling according to the requirements of each operation. 03 #### Pickr.ai robotic picking The PickrMate robot works with AutoStore to pick selected products. Picking can continue outside staffed hours, with orders prepared for subsequent handling and packing. 04 #### Conveyors and carrier sorting The e-motions solution links conveyors, automatic shipping labels and sorting modules. Parcels are routed to the appropriate carrier after packing. 05 #### Measurement, weight and parcel images DWS records dimensions, weight and identification. Parcels on the sorting line are photographed before leaving the facility, adding visual documentation to the dispatch process. 06 #### WMS and dedicated work areas Ongoing WMS supports the warehouse operation. Dedicated cross-docking zones support goods moving directly from receipt to dispatch. Manual stations, procedures and staffing are adapted to the customer. Employees handle tasks that require judgement and manual intervention. ### From storage to dispatch An example of the flow. The workflow is adapted to the products and order requirements. - ### Processing before dispatch Printing, product labelling and personalisation can be part of the same operation. Products are prepared according to the customer’s specifications. - ### Returns and quality checks Returned goods are checked and prepared for the next step. The facility is located within one hour of Oslo and includes 4,000 sqm of mountain hall storage with stable temperature, humidity control, restricted access and strong physical protection. This location is relevant for businesses that need protected storage for valuable assets, sensitive equipment, contingency stock, components or other critical inventory where environmental stability and security matter more than public visibility.
